‘Shut In’ Movie Review

I’m not a fan of scary or super-thriller movies but I thought I’d check this one out. Well, this one doesn’t disappoint with it’s thriller scenes. The storyline starts out simple enough yet there’s a twist and you may be surprised who’s the creepy killer, lol.

‘Kill the Messenger’ Movie Review

K the Messenger

Based on a true story, a news reporter gets info on the U.S./CIA allowing guns and drugs into the U.S. Rick Ross who was a big drug dealer is apart of this huge story yet the notoriety of this story mostly went unknown because it came to the surface at the same time of the Clinton/Lewinsky sexual tryst. The reporter who exposed this story was unable to get work again in Media and he later committed suicide.

‘Chef’ Movie Review

Chef banner

Oh boy here’s a film that I hope keeps a buzz the rest of the year. Jon Favreau gives an Oscar worthy performance. The storyline is engaging with lots of humor. I really liked all the music and it made you sing along and have nostalgic thoughts, lol. A sub-storyline of the beginning of a heartwarming relationship between a father and son. This is a sleeper hit film with a great ensemble cast (a couple of #MarvelAvengers, lol). This film is playing in select theatres (mostly artsy ones) across the country (opened a few weeks ago).
