‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Movie Review

Entertaining, engaging, exciting, and eye-popping colors and characters!  I really enjoyed this 2nd installment to the trilogy.  Great storyline and everything that a Star Wars fan wants to see.  There’s a great acknowledgement to “Princess Leia” in the end credits.  I  stayed to the screen turned black but no end credit scene.  I saw it in Dolby and it was GREAT!  I will see it at least twice more because I want to experience it in other formats, so IMAX 3D and Super E-Max screen viewings are coming soon. I’ll update this review to share my feelings on those formats.  A fave of mine from #GameOfThrones makes her mark in this one, #GwendolineChristie b.k.a. Brienne of Tarth.

‘Surburbicon’ Movie Review

I always find George Clooney movies to be “different” and my assessment is still true. There are two different storylines going on…one about racism and then a murder caper! The murder caper is more engaging as more time is spent on this storyline. I actually enjoyed this movie better than I thought I would.

‘The Promise’ Movie Review

Based on true accounts about the Armenian genocide this movie is a love story of two men being in love with one woman yet she truly only loves one of them. The love story has many twists yet the truth of what happened to many innocent people is shared.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Movie Review

Xmen a banner 2

This is pretty much another Marvel superhero movie…that’s fine because I give it a thumbs up! It’s a little long because the first hour builds up the storyline. Some familiar faces and new faces as the X-Men…it’s always fun to see the characters younger (of course, one fave makes a cameo at his current age). I saw it in RealD 3D and it was pretty good. Don’t forget…stay until the screen turns BLACK…there’s an end credit scene (which I really didn’t get or like, lol). Sophie Turner does a great job as a young Jean (I’m always happy to see #GOT actors on the big screen).
