‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ Movie Review

What an epic conclusion to this trilogy.  I really enjoyed this entire movie.  The beginning picks up directly from the end of part two.  Great battle scenes and everything a true Hobbit fan would expect to see.  I did see it in IMAX 3D and it was fabulous!

‘Into The Storm’ Movie Review

The film is depicted from a City in tornado alley yet it was totally filmed in Metro Detroit (to my surprise)! A great cameo of Detroit’s WDIV (not the station used in the film) meteorologist Chuck Gaidica and reporter Steve Garagiola (and former meteorologist Kim Adams). Basically, this is a storm chaser film. I’m a big fan of ‘Twister’ yet this one didn’t measure up. The special effects of the film are pretty good yet I thought the storyline is a bit weak unlike ‘Twister’ is. I didn’t see it in 3D.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

The 2nd installment in this franchise doesn’t disappoint! Woo hoo, I totally enjoyed all 161 minutes of this movie! All of the characters are back expect one…I won’t spoil it yet he is my least fave of this franchise and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ (but most ppl like him, lol). I saw it in 3D and thought it was pretty ok. Worth checking out this Holiday Season.
