‘Stan & Ollie’ Movie Review

For those born in this era or those of us that watched the re-runs as children on tv, you will find this film delightfully heartwarming and knowledgeable of two of the most well-known comedy teams.  This film shares the challenges they faces even as popular as they were.  Their friendship was one that most people dreamed of.

‘Holmes & Watson’ Movie Review

‘Despicable Me 3’ Movie Review

I can’t say that I’m a big fan of this franchise (maybe the minions) yet I really did enjoy this third installment. It’s funny and has a storyline that will keep adults engaged. The minions pop up here and there and add their funny. I saw it in 3D and it was pretty good. Good animated flick for all to enjoy.

‘The Secret Life of Pets’ Movie Review

To say the least I really enjoyed this movie. This is a sure fire hit for pet owners! I don’t have a pet but I found this movie to be so funny and enjoyable for all. There’s a quick end credit scene. I think there will be a sequel. I saw it in IMAX 3D and it was great! Enjoy it in that format if you can.

‘Minions’ Movie Review

Funny yet I thought it would be funnier (I am a fan). The funniest of the movie is towards the end. I thought some of the content was a little dark for younger children which is the main demographic. The 3D is pretty good.

‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ Movie Review

This is a fun movie for the whole family to see this Holiday Season! Just as fun and funny as the original film in this trilogy. The monkey is so funny and watch out for those slick dance moves, lol. Lots of character in all the characters and just plain fun. Also, I believe this is Robin Williams last film…I think he’d be proud of this film. Spoiler: really funny cameo by Hugh Jackman.

‘Philomena’ Movie Review (Oscar Nominee)

A great heartwarming film about a mother’s journey to find her son that she was forced to give up (based on a true story). Good acting along with a good storyline kept my attention the entire film. Well deserved Oscar nomination for Best Picture.
