‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’ Movie Review

Once Upon a time

Quentin Tarantino movies can be a hit or miss since the Kill Bill movies, and this one is a miss for me. Yes, there’s lot of corny humor yet the gory fight scenes made me squirm (yes Kill Bill was gory but just different all together and maybe because of “who” did the gory scenes). Wasn’t my type of movie.

‘Missing Link’ Movie Review

Missing link

This claymation bear sets off to find his relatives with two other adventurers. Kinda reminded me of Sherlock and Holmes. Decent but it didn’t hold my attention. I saw it in 3D and it’s not worth paying for.

‘Mother’s Day’ Movie Review

MOthers Day movie banner 1

This is the third movie in this franchise from director Gary Marshall and unfortunately since the first film, ‘Valentine’s Day’, the spark hasn’t been there. Overall, this movie is okay but with such A-list actors I had hoped for a better acting. There are a few poignant scenes but it’s just not a great movie.

‘This Is Where I Leave You’ Movie Review

This Is Where I leave You

Comedy drama and good acting are all exhibited in this film. A great ensemble cast of actors and a good storyline make for a good movie going experience. I really enjoyed this movie and the complexities (reminded me a lot of ‘The Family Stone’) and learning about being Jewish (rituals after someone passes).
