‘Downhill’ Movie Review via streaming

I didn’t catch this flick in theatres and caught up to it via streaming during the pandemic shut down. The storyline is that about what really matters to you when a sudden tragedy happens. Some humor but it makes you think about how your loved one would react.

‘Holmes & Watson’ Movie Review

‘Daddy’s Home 2’ Movie Review

Here’s the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Daddy’s Home’.  I think sequels have so much pressure on them and I still feel the same way.  The jokes weren’t as funny and fluent to me.  Some scenes are unrealistic yet I did laugh.  The movie lover in me enjoyed the theatre scene towards the end of the movie.  There’s an end credit scene yet it’s not anything worth staying for (I just happened to still be sitting there).

‘The House’ Movie Review

Not being a Will Ferrell fan, I was happy that I ended up laughing (and sometimes out loud) at this movie. All of the characters had chemistry with one another. Don’t expect a storyline that makes any sense…this one is for laughs only. The outtakes are funny as well. Pharrell has new music in this movie.

‘Zoolander 2’ Movie Review

I didn’t see the first movie so I had no expectations other than ridiculous comedy. I was right, the comedy is stupid yet it is somewhat funny and better than what I thought it would be. Several celebrity cameos. I think fans of the first movie will enjoy this one.

‘Get Hard’ Movie Review

If you’re a fan of either lead character, then this is the film for you to laugh out loud. There are funny scenes that I really enjoyed yet this isn’t a comedy favorite for me.

‘The Lego Movie’ Movie Review

So much nostalgia with these popular toy pieces and funny characters (Batman/Will Arnett and Vitruvius/Morgan Freeman my faves) make this animated film a winner-winner! There’s lots of jokes for the young at heart…probably more directed for the adults (I think this film is for us, lol). A good family film to see.
