Cinematography wise it’s beautiful; everything else is twisted nor worth the time.

This is probably the most visually stunning DC Comics movie to date. I saw it in IMAX and everything was stunning. The storyline is easy to follow yet not very engaging. Yes, there is 1 end credit scene about mid-way through.

I will say that this movie is better than I thought it would be. It’s not a thriller and probably could have been better considering the great ensemble cast yet I was engaged the entire movie. The “who done it” was twisty till the end yet I wanted a more intense lead up to the reveal.

This movie reminded me of good Saturday afternoon kung-fu movies from back in the day…yet there’s no kung-fu in this movie, lol. I knew there was a monster but I had no other expectations for this movie and I ended up enjoying it in IMAX 3-D.

Mr. Matrix is back on the big screen in this action packed shoot-em-up movie. The movie starts light hearted and when it changes to gunfire it doesn’t stop until the very end with another brief light hearted scene. There’s humor within the drama/action scenes which adds to the storyline, to me anyways. This is definitely a “guy” movie (ladies they can have their movies as we have our chick flicks). “Game of Thrones” fans will see Alfie Allen (character: Iosef Tarasov) in a co-leading role…we who are fans of G.O.T. know him as, Theon Greyjoy. Lastly, don’t mess with John Wick’s dog, IJS.

I didn’t read the book (and books are usually much better than the film adaptation) yet I give this film a big thumbs up! This is a really sweet love story between two people that happen to have cancer. Wonderfully acted and humorous with very touching scenes. There’s a switcheroo that caught me off guard that adds to the most touching scene in the movie. Definitely worth checking out.
