‘Tag’ Movie Review

Based on true accounts of friends that literally played “tag” with one another and it was no holds barred. Only one friend was able to avoid being tagged for many years. The silliness of it all was funny but they did actually hurt themselves sometimes. There’s some real footage of the friends antics at the end of the movie.

‘SuperFly’ Movie Review

Well, I had no preconceived opinions so I had an open mind. This movie is straight up URBAN with no chaser. This reboot to a famous franchise is a win for me! Superfly to say the least is “pretty” in a good way, lol) sexy, strong with lots of swagger! I was engaged the entire movie although there are some cheesy scenes. It’s ends for a possible sequel or a franchise of new films. Definitely worth checking out!

‘Hotel Artemis’ Movie Review

This is a high-tech sci-fi movie to me yet this genre is not listed in the description. There are gory scenes; fight scenes and a bit of humor. Overall, I thought it was entertaining. All star ensemble cast.

‘Ocean’s 8’ Movie Review

This is definitely a girls night out movie for Summer time fun. The storyline is not as tricky as the original Ocean’s movies yet it’s worth checking out. Lots of familiar faces in the ensemble cast with LOTS of cameos from celebrities. Laughs with a little mystery.  I waited until the credits finished and there wasn’t an end credit scene.  I saw it in Dolby and it was great.

Based on a true story of a newly in love couple that sets sail in the South Pacific when a hurricane happens upon them. Do they survive? I was expecting more out of this storyline.

‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Movie Review

This prequel that shows us how Han Solo, Chewebacca and Lando and a few others met one another and started their now legendary journies together. The screen is visually stunning in IMAX. The storyline is good enough for a sequel and will satisfy Star Wars fans in my opinion. There are no end credit scenes. It was also fun seeing one of #GOT favorite characters, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
