‘The Circle’ Movie Review

Although the storyline is quite relevant now, I thought the movie was slow and it under used the great talents of the actors in this movie.  The plot is not consistent and will bore you yet there is a message.

‘Sleight’ Movie Review

Is the magician really a magician?  The storyline of the lead actor is laid out pretty good. He want to do good for his sister yet he’s caught up in something that spins out of control.  The last half hour, the movie turn sci-fi and ends sci-fi.

‘How to Be a Latin Lover’ Movie Review

If you want to laugh, then you will laugh throughout this movie. Corny yet worth the time.  The younger actors have a funny back story as well (the female child actress is starring in ‘Gifted’ now).

‘The Lost City of Z’ Movie Review

Based on a true story which I had never read about we find an explorer who is convinced that a City of humans exists deep in the jungle in the Amazon. The movie is slow yet the story is interesting. No one knows if the City was found as the explorer, his son and another man disappeared in the 1920’s. Over 100 people were sent to find/rescue them but they were never found.

‘Free Fire’ Movie Review

This is an old-school shoot-em-up bang-bang movie, LOL. Lots of bullets and swearing. The shoot out becomes so ridiculously funny that it’s hard to believe anyone will survive. It’s a quick movie most of it is this funny yet gory shooting scene.

‘Born in China’ Movie Review

This is a wonderful nature film for the entire family to enjoy.  Venturing into the wilds of China, “Born in China” captures intimate moments with a panda and her growing cub, a young golden monkey who feels displaced by his baby sister, and a mother snow leopard struggling to raise her two cubs.   This  film celebrates the annual Earth day.

‘Colossal’ Movie Review

What a strange yet unique romantic/comedy?  The relationship is totally dysfunctional and they’re able to literally fight it out “monster-style”, lol. I’s a little funny but not my type of movie.

‘Unforgettable’ Movie Review

I’m glad I decided to see this movie after all the bad comments I had heard. The movie is definitely not great and it does start off pretty good and then loses it’s punch. The storyline is somewhat predictable with an ending that most won’t find fulfilling.
