‘The Little Mermaid’ movie review

Disney does it right with this live action remake! The expected lush colors and whimsical scenes are all there to dazzle your eyes. I actually don’t recall if I’ve ever completely seen the original animated movie. Halle does a great job of the reinvisioning of the character and Disney includes all cultures. There are a few dark scenes so the littles may close their eyes a couple times. I saw it in IMAX and it was great; I may see it again in 3D.

‘Love Again’ Movie Review

This is and could have just aired on the Hallmark channel, IJS. Love, lost, and learning to love again is the storyline. Definitely a chick flick. I didn’t know beforehand that Celine Dion was actually a “character” in the movie

‘The Super Mario Bros Movie’ Movie Review

Of course I’m familiar with the nostalgic game yet never really played it. This movie is definitely family friendly yet was pretty boring.

‘Maybe I Do’ Movie Review

The twist is with both sets of parents as the couple are the background storyline. Honestly, boring and better viewed on tv not money spent at the theatre although the main cast are well known.

‘A Ticket to Paradise’ Movie review

A fun and soft-hearted enough movie. Parents double team their daughter in her choice for love as their love is revisited.

‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’ Movie Review

This genre of a movie is usually my muse but NOT this one. Visually entertaining yet I didn’t like anything else about it.

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Movie Review

I’m a huge Marvel fan and to see original Avengers back on the big screen is always a fun time. There’s lot of humor. A different type of Marvel movie but still fun. I saw it in Dolby and will see it again in IMAX 3-D. Yes, there are two end credit scenes!

‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ Movie Review

So, I didn’t watch the television show; I saw the first movie and now this one. I think these films are better viewed by fans of the show. Visually stunning of an era that I love to see on the big screen.

‘The Lost City’ Movie Review

I didn’t realize early on that it was set up to be a rom com, lol. Their chemistry isn’t bad, there are laughs especially from Brad Pitt’s character. Not too bad. There’s one end credit scene.

‘Marry Me’ Movie Review

A rom-com for the Valentine’s weekend. Jlo usually gets this type of role right and she did. The storyline is a lil sappy as some things aren’t realistic. Cute enough. There are “couple” outtakes at the end.
